The UK Truffle Dog Championships are back — newly refined, more exciting than ever and open to all experience levels.

Held alongside The UK Truffle Festival, this standout competition invites both seasoned and beginner dog-handler teams to put their truffle hunting skills to the test in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Now modelled more closely on traditional Italian truffle dog trials, the 2025 Championships focus on a realistic, field-inspired experience — with judging based on motivation, searching, detection, indication, and teamwork..

Spaces are limited to just 20 competitors and tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis.

Handlers will only be able to enter one dog each, as spaces are limited and we want to give more people a chance to enter this year.
