Truffle Forager Events – Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21/03/2024
These Terms & Conditions apply to all events run by Truffle Forager Limited, including but not limited to the UK Truffle Festival, truffle dog training days, truffle foraging experiences, retreats, and educational workshops. By purchasing tickets or attending any Truffle Forager event, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.
1. Introduction
The UK Truffle Festival is the flagship event of Truffle Forager Limited, a UK-registered company. We also run a variety of seasonal and educational events focused on truffles, sustainable foraging, dog training, and nature-based learning. These terms govern attendance at all our events and your use of our services.
2. Ticket Sales & Booking Policy
- Tickets for our events are sold online through Ticket Tailer (tickettailer.com). By purchasing tickets, you agree to Ticket Tailer’s terms and conditions as well.
- Event tickets are subject to availability and may be limited in quantity.
- Prices for tickets are clearly displayed on our ticket purchasing website and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- All ticket sales are final, and we have a no-refund policy unless otherwise specified for a particular event.
- Booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Standard ticket sales will remain open until 48 hours before the event or until sold out.
- We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the event (e.g. schedule, layout, speaker lineup) without offering a refund.
- Some events have capacity limits; once early-bird or VIP allocations sell out, only standard tickets will remain.
- Entry to the event is only permitted with a valid ticket or registration.
Refunds & Resal
3. Cancellation Policy & Reselling Tickets
- Events will proceed in most weather conditions. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather—please come prepared for all conditions.
- You are entitled to a refund within 14 days of your ticket purchase, provided your purchase was made more than 30 days before the event date.
- If you purchase your ticket within 30 days of the event, you will not be entitled to a refund, regardless of the reason.
- All booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Should you no longer be able to attend the event but are not eligible for a refund you have two options:
- 1 – You can either hand over your ticket to a friend or family member and they can go in your place – they just need your ticket confirmation email with the ticket QR code on the day.
- 2 – You can try and exchange your ticket for sale via our trusted 3rd party ‘fan to fan’ ticket resale site called Tixel (www.tixel.com). We have fully integrated our ticketing system with this site so it is the safest way for you to resell or buy tickets for the event should they sell out/become available.
- Please note: For your own protection, do not try and sell or buy tickets outside of TicketTailer or Tixel.
- In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organisers, we will either:
- Offer a full refund of the ticket price (excluding booking fees), or
- Provide an option to transfer your ticket to a new date or future event.
- We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to event programming, schedule, location, or structure. These changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
- Truffle Forager Limited accepts no responsibility for travel, accommodation, or other associated costs incurred by attendees in the event of cancellation or rescheduling.
4. Health, Safety & Access
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).

- Re-entry is permitted on the same day with a valid wristband (issued at exit).
- Alcohol may not be brought onto any event site.
- Food and drink vendors will be available, but attendees may bring their own refreshments unless otherwise stated.
5. Dog Policy & Animal Welfare (Applicable to all dog-friendly events)
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome at most of our events unless otherwise specified.
- Dogs must be kept on a fixed lead at all times. Extendable leads are not recommended.
- Bitches in season are not permitted at dog-friendly events.
- Owners must provide water, poop bags, and supervision for their dogs.

- Dogs must be appropriately socialised for public environments.
- You are responsible for your dog’s health and behaviour while attending.
- Mistreatment, unsafe handling, or inappropriate training techniques may result in removal from the event.
